Side Stand Modification

To help on soft ground I welded a big (50x50x3mm) square washer onto the sidestand to give it a bigger foot. I was a bit limited as to how big I could make it the stand rests close to the chain. It helped a lot on grass but wasn’t quite big enough for wet weather, however it was big enough to grind into corners worryingly for the first 1000miles!

Cheap and easy. To make sure you weld at the correct angle, do it while the bike is resting on the stand.
