A late start but nice ride into old East Germany. Stop at a lake for a bratwurst sausage thing and on to Zchopau to see the MZ factory. After getting really lost due the incredibly awful philip's road map, there's only time for a quick wee stop and some photos before heading for Prague. Cross the border in the twilight to the delight of the Czech border guards who think 'You are Mr Michael Jackson' is hilarious. Am waved on by the friendly local women (and am naive so wave back) and head down a frighteningly poor road in the dark pushed ever faster by nutty natives. Arrive in Prague for 10pm and spend until 11pm riding round the city's one-way system; finally hire a taxi to guide me to the hostel and dump my kit. After getting lost several times manage to get to Hell's Bells bar and meet up with a cool guy called Forest, drink lots of pivo and stagger back across the city, via a burger van to a 6 bed dorm all to myself.
